Every Generation Onkaparinga Grants
Our Every Generation Onkaparinga (EGO) ‘Celebrating Positive Ageing’ program celebrates the outstanding achievements and valuable contributions people of all ages, cultures and abilities make to ‘positive ageing’ in our communities.
How to apply
Applications are now open and close noon Tuesday 10 March 2020.
Think about your event.
Read the Every Generation Onkaparinga Grant Guidelines in full and check your eligibility.
We encourage enquiries prior to starting your application. Please contact Justin Ifould, Community Wellbeing Officer on (08) 8384 0120 or email email@example.com
The maximum amount available for any one event or activity will be $2400.
The grants predominantly aim to support community events and activities during October that:
- encourage seniors to actively participate in their communities and share their achievements and contributions with people of all ages
- reduce social isolation in our local communities and build community capacity
- encourage older community members to engage in community life and leisure activities that increase wellbeing
- align with Onkaparinga 2035 (our community plan) objectives.
Please note: depending on demand for the grants, it is possible that not all applications will be funded or to the full amount requested. In that case only events or activities that can proceed with partial funding will be considered.
