COVID-19 Community Wellbeing and Resilience Grant

The Community Wellbeing and Resilience Grant provides grants of between $500 and $2000 for community groups to connect people affected by the COVID-19 pandemic to important services and programs.

Applications are invited from groups to expand or adapt their existing programs/activities, or create new programs/activities that will respond to the impacts of COVID-19, for instance improving mental health, community connectedness, physical health, financial security or food security.

Funding conditions

Grants of $500-$2000 are available per application.

You must provide a quote for any items over $200 and for facilitator fees that you would like us to fund.

Organisations can submit a maximum of two applications for this grant, (noting that a maximum of one application can be funded per round).

Eligibility
Your organisation is a ‘not for profit’ organisation incorporated under the Associations Incorporation Act South Australia 1985 OR registered with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC).

Programs must be based within the City of Onkaparinga.

The application must demonstrate a need relating to the COVID-19 pandemic, and a clear plan for addressing the need.

 

Examples of eligible projects

Examples of eligible programs/activities include (but are not limited to):

  • counselling services
  • health and wellbeing programs/activities
  • support for the socially isolated
  • financial planning advice and support
  • employment and training programs/activities
  • food programs/activities.
