Congratulations to our 2021 City of Onkaparinga Australia Day Award recipients.
These annual awards recognise local individuals and groups who have made an outstanding contribution to our communities during the year in the following categories.
- Citizen of the Year
- Young Citizen of the Year
- Little Hero of the Year
- Sportsperson of the Year
- Community Event of the Year
- Active Citizenship
Our 2021 City of Onkaparinga Award recipients are:
- Citizen of the Year - Paul Crate
- Young Citizen of the Year - Angus Miller
- Community Event of the Year - Jessica Jones Wildlife Event
Absent: Jessica Jones - Due to unforeseeable circumstances, Jessica was unable to join us on Australia Day to accept her award.

To be eligible, the person must be an Australian Citizen, should reside in the City of Onkaparinga and/ or have made a significant voluntary contribution to the Onkaparinga community through the year or over a number of years.
