Learn To Swim

Our Swim School offers swimming lessons to babies, toddlers, preschool, school aged children and adults for all swimming abilities. 

The Noarlunga Aquatic and Recreation Centre swim school is registered with Swim Australia and focuses on teaching the four competitive strokes. All our instructors are Austswim accredited.

How to enrol online

  1. Select ‘Enrol Now’ button
  2. Browse Timetable – Find a suitable level, day and time. You can also use the filters on the left hand side of the screen to filter through levels, days and times.
  3. Select the Book Now button against the class you wish to register in’
  4. Sign up to create an online account – Once the online account is created you will need to add your family members/ Children to your account if the age requirements are correct for the level that has been selected you will then proceed to a questionnaire.
  5. To finalise your enrollment you will be directed to provide your financial details, in which you will select ‘Place My Order’ and a confirmation of enrollment will be displayed on your screen.
  6. Select the Swim School Terms and Conditions to review and sign upon completion of enrollment. 

Our swimming lessons are held Monday – Saturday mornings and Monday – Friday afternoons. Our lessons run for 50 weeks of year through all school holidays, but stop for two weeks over Christmas and New Year and stop on each public holiday.  

An active swim school membership gives access to one(1) swimming lesson per week and access to the pool at all other times. Children under the age of 5 years also receive free access for one adult attending with them. 

  • Membership payment – membership are debited weekly on a Thursday.
  • Membership cancellation – members must give 28 days written notice to cancel.
  • Membership freeze (suspensions) - members must give 3 days written notice prior to the payment due date, a fee applies for each membership (lesson) freeze.
  • Make up classes – Members have access to 12 make up classes per year, 4 hours notice of absence must be given prior to lesson.
