Christies Beach Surf Life Saving Club SA
Christies Beach Surf Life Saving Club is a warm and welcoming club that supports and relies on the efforts of volunteers. We are 100% volunteer run and led club.
Our Vision: To provide leading lifesaving services through a lifestyle built on community engagement, education, fitness and competition.
Our Mission Statement: Saving lives through protection and prevention
Our Members: 5-13 year old ‘Nippers’, 14-18 year old Youth, our Seniors (18 yrs+) and Masters (30 yrs+), parents, life members and associate members.
Our History: Formed in 1954 and has been very successful in all areas of surf lifesaving, community service and competition at state and national levels.
Our competition: history is filled with champions who have excelled in competition on the beach in R&R, flags and running events, as well as water events like swimming, surf skis, boards and surf boats.
Throughout our years of competition, Christies Beach is proud to have had members who have represented our State in the beach, water, craft and boat areas. We have a strong team of members proud to wear the “black and yellow” and fly our flag, marching on many beaches across Australia, but our pride also comes from keeping our home beach safe and playing a vital role right here, in our community.
The City of Onkaparinga Sporting Club Directory allows local sporting clubs to promote their club and events. They are not endorsed by council. Please contact the club directly if you have any queries.
