Bin collections

Bins are collected on all public holidays except for Christmas and New Year's Day.

Christmas Day and New Year’s Day fall on a Monday this year, so collections will occur a day later than usual:

• Monday collections (25 Dec / 1 Jan) will occur on Tuesday (26 Dec / 2 Jan)
• Tuesday collections (26 Dec / 2 Jan) will occur on Wednesday (27 Dec / 3 Jan)
• Wednesday collections (27 Dec / 3 Dec) will occur on Thursday (28 Dec / 4 Jan)
• Thursday metro and Thursday rural collections (28 Dec / 4 Jan) will occur on a Friday (29 Dec / 5 Jan)
• Friday collections (29 Dec / 5 Jan) will occur on Saturday (30 Dec /6 Jan)

Cars on beach permit

Looking for vehicle access to our beaches? You can visit one of our customer service offices and Libraries to get a permit from December.

Boat ramp launch permit

The boat ramp at O’Sullivan Beach is now open following an upgrade by the Department for Infrastructure and Transport. Permits are not required until PayStay signage is installed on-site.
