Imperceptible represents the artist’s ongoing inquiry into using air as a medium. As an established textile artist, these fresh inquiries push the historical feminist use of string and repetitive processes to develop sculptural biomorphic forms which harness the generative act of deflation. The works speak to time, breath and the essence of mortality.

Julia Boros will present a live deflation of her soft sculptural work Imperceptible in conjunction with a casual artist talk to discuss the development of this body of work and associated explorations into using air as a primary medium.
