Sellicks Beach, the southernmost point of the City of Onkaparinga, is where the Mount Lofty Ranges meet the sea. Steep cliffs soon give way to a long expanse of sandy beach.
This part of the coastline is renowned for its plentiful fishing and boat launching facilities.
Cars with beach passes are also permitted on the beach below the Esplanade.
Dogs are permitted off-leash at any time between the northern side of Robert Street, Sellicks Beach, to the southern boundary of the council area, also known as Cactus Canyon.
Dogs must be under effective control.
