Melissa Little

Municipal Belonging

Riverside Studio | July - September 2019

Little is an Adelaide based digital artist on a pensive search to find her place in the world.  Employing typology, image repeats and polyptych, she creates visual representations of her lived experience, exploring humanity and aspiring to represent the emotion of people and place.

Whilst in residency, Little aims to connect with the local landscape and community; visiting places and meeting locals, documenting the region and its inhabitants.

Employing both photography and moving image, Municipal Belongingness seeks to represent the wide spectrum of social and environmental variation that exists within the Onkaparinga region.
