Federal Election Results 2004, City of Onkaparinga

The Australian Federal Election held in October 2004 resulted in a return of government for the Liberal Party.

There are four federal electorates that are within the boundary of the City of Onkaparinga – Kingston, Boothby, Mayo and Barker (refer to map). The election resulted in Kingston changing hands with Kym Richardson (Lib.) replacing David Cox (ALP). The other three electorates re-elected the sitting members for another three year term. The members re-elected were Patrick Secker (Lib. Barker), Alexander Downer (Lib. Mayo) and Andrew Southcott (Lib. Boothby).
