In the five years from 2001 to 2006 there were 25,807 real estate sales in the City of Onkaparinga. Of these:
- 82.4% were residential housing sales,
- 7.6% were units,
- 3.6% were rural properties,
- 3.4% were vacant land,
- 2.8% were commercial/industrial and
- 0.2% were flats.
Real estate prices rose sharply between 2001 and 2006, ranging from 74.2% increase for rural properties to 126.5% increase for vacant land, while houses rose by 88%, as shown in the table below.
