Population change, City of Onkaparinga Statistical Local Areas, 2001 - 2006
Our current (2006) Estimated Resident Population is 154,417. Onkaparinga’s population is estimated to have increased by 3,407 people between 2001 and 2006, with an overall growth rate for the five-year period of nearly 2.3%.
The Statistical Local Area (SLA) with the largest estimated growth was South Coast, which comprises thirteen suburbs between Port Noarlunga and Sellicks Beach. South Coast SLA grew by 2,509 people, with an overall 5-year growth rate of 10.77%, which was almost five times the growth rate of the City of Onkaparinga as a whole
