Rate payments and electronic notice delivery

Rates may be paid annually or in quarterly instalments on the first day of September, December, March and June each year.
There are numerous payment options to choose from.

You can pay:

  • Online at Onkaparinga—Pay your rates online by credit card. Visit 'Pay Online'. Dog registration renewals, debtors invoices and infringements payments are also accepted online.
     
  • By phone—Call BPOINT on 1300 276 468 any time to pay with MasterCard or Visa.

  • Bpay—Contact your participating financial institution to make a payment from your cheque, savings or credit card account.**Please quote Biller Code 48470

    *Rate Notices can also be delivered via BPayVIEW. Register online through you financial institution.
     
  • By mail—Post your cheque or credit card payments to:

  • Centrepay—Centrelink's direct debit system. Ratepayers who receive Centrelink payments can register and have fortnightly deductions from their benefits paid directly toward their council rates.
     
  • Australia Post Billpay—Pay in person at any post office, by phoning 13 18 16 or online at www.postbillpay.com.au

  • In person—Payment in person at any of our offices.
     
  • Rate Notices can also be delivered straight to your inbox using ezybill. Please go to the ‘Ezybill - rate notices via email’ webpage for more information and to register for this service. When receiving notices via email you can choose to make payment via your preferred payment method (as above) or for convenience click on the ‘Online Payments’  section of the notice to pay by Credit Card on the Council website. Payments through this option are immediately updated on your rates account.
