The City of Onkaparinga provides our customers with access to a range of online resources.
To access a database, click on the relevant link below. A new browser window will open. Enter your library barcode. You will then be directed to the database.
You only have to enter your barcode once per session. Each session lasts for two hours. To access any of the other databases, return to this page and click on a link. You will be forwarded directly to the database.

Ancestry Library Edition
Provides access to an extensive range of genealogical resources from the United States and United Kingdom, including census, vital, church, court and immigration records. Also provides limited Australian coverage.
Note: This database is not available externally. It can be searched from within any of the City of Onkaparinga Libraries on the public PCs. It is also accessible via the public wireless network.

Note: This database is not available externally. The Australasian and UK editions of Findmypast can be searched on the Local History PCs at Aldinga, Hub and Noarlunga libraries.

My Health and Wellbeing
Public Libraries SA compilation of free online health resources. These web sites have been selected by public library staff and contain quality health information.
NewsBank
NewsBank provides quick, easy access to a selection of Australian and international newspapers. Titles include The Advertiser, The Sunday Mail, The Messenger, The Age, The Australian and New York Times.
PressDisplay
PressDisplay provides instant online access to today's newspapers from around the world in full-colour, full-page format. The ever-expanding collection currently includes nearly 1,000 titles. Just like reading the familiar print edition, viewers can browse articles and other key content, such as pictures, advertisements, classifieds and notices.

Provides lists, reviews and resources for librarians, teachers and parents about books for young people aged 5 to 18.
Road to IELTS
A self-study IELTS preparation course produced by the British Council to help candidates prepare for the IELTS exam. Provides access to free online self-study materials to support IELTS General Training and IELTS Academic test preparations.
