In addition many of our recreational trails are multi-use and are suitable for horse riding as well as cycling and walking. These are identified in the Recreational Trails Network Strategy and Action Plan.
The Coast to Vines Rail Trail is a multi use trail with a popular section for horse riders between McLaren Vale and Willunga known as the Shiraz Trail which also links to the Kidman Trail.
Horse riders are encouraged to observe Horse SA’s Trail Riders Code of Conduct.
