Average house values

Average house values in the City of Onkaparinga rose by 45.7% between 2005 and 2011.  The 2011 average house value in Onkaparinga was lower than the adjoining Local Government Area (LGA) of Marion, and higher than the similar ‘growth’ LGA of Playford.

Over the last 10 years average house values in the City of Onkaparinga have increased by 142.2%, from $151,400 in 2002 to $366,700 in 2011.

Median House Prices by Suburb

Median house prices by suburb shows that Morphett Vale consistently experiences the highest number of property sales.  McLaren Flat recorded the maximum median house price in 2011, although this relates to the sale of only two properties.

The biggest increase in median price when comparing 2010 to 2011 was 50.0% at Maslin Beach, followed by similar results for Port Noarlunga (35.6%) and Darlington (35.5%).  The largest decline in median price occurred at Old Noarlunga (-42.9%).
