Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Art Projects

The City of Onkaparinga is providing financial assistance for emerging Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander (ATSI) artists living within the City of Onkaparinga to support a range of arts projects.  The projects will support ATSI artists to further develop their skills and capacity to exhibit, perform, present and / or sell their work, working in partnership with Neporendi.

Skills and capacity building projects may include:

  • Working with artist mentors to develop arts project outcomes
  • Working with industry professionals to develop a broader understanding of the arts industry
  • Support to develop and present exhibitions, either for individuals or groups, at professional arts based venues
  • Support to market and promote arts initiatives
  • Support to develop performances, events and other arts activities.

Applicants are encouraged to discuss their proposed application/s with the Co-ordinator at the Arts Centre Port Noarlunga and / or the Community Development Officer at Neporendi prior to submitting a proposal.
