Our aim is to have strong and vibrant communities across our region and, in developing the Community Plan 2028, we have committed to achieving that goal. We are investing in our communities by planning the sustainable growth of our city, contributing to a thriving economy, managing and protecting our environment, making connections for dynamic communities and encouraging leadership at all levels of community life.

We have developed strategies like our Water Futures Strategy and Open Space Strategy to direct the Council’s work in the community. Our policies guide our actions in the development and improvement of service delivery.
