Local Studies Online comprises a selection of digitised
items from the Local Studies Collections at the Aldinga, Hub and
Noarlunga libraries. The broader Local Studies Collections are
a compilation of resources reflecting the history of the City
of Onkaparinga. The major focus is on printed, published and paper-based
material specifically relating to the history of the City of Onkaparinga.
Some emphasis is also given to the collection of oral histories,
photographs and original manuscripts.
Local Studies contain some records relating to the former Cities
of Happy Valley and Noarlunga and the former District Council
of Willunga. To view all materials relating to the local area
it is necessary to search both the libraries'
catalogue and the Local Studies On-line
database. Photographs received since January 2002 will be found
only in the Local Studies Online database and they will not be
listed in the Libraries' catalogue.
Images have been indexed from the information provided by the
donors or creators. We welcome feedback on matters of detail that
