Sand Sculpture Exhibition - The Wizard of Oz

Where: Port Noarlunga Esplanade (off Clarke St), Port Noarlunga

I’m off to see the Wizard – the wonderful wizard of OZ….

Enter through the Yellow Brick Road and see the Land of Oz come to life in sand – 9 Australian and international sculptors will intricately carve over 300 tonnes of sand into amazing sculptures bringing this wonderful story to life.

Take the sand pathways with Dorothy as she and Toto leave Kansas and find themselves in Oz. As they try to find their way home they befriend the Lion, Tin Man and Scarecrow – battle the Wicked Witch of the West, meet Glinda the Good Witch of the North and more.

Onsite activities include – sculptors talk’s, sand art and bottles, family game zone, giant sand pit, activity sheet and interactive photography.

Light refreshments are available on site.

Parking

The 2018 Sand Sculpture Exhibition is on these school holidays and is not to be missed! Parking is available in the Witton Centre car park and throughout the Port Noarlunga township. Disability parking is available on the Esplanade in front of the event entry. To access the disability parking zone, enter the road closure at Clark Street. A traffic management representative will be there to let you through and please remember to adhere to the reduced speed limit of 25km/h.
