Digital Literacy drop in sessions - Onkaparinga Libraries

Digital Literacy

Onkaparinga libraries provide help and support to people who may require assistance in using digital technologies.

Our approach is to help people quickly gain the self-confidence they need by offering learning opportunities in a
non-traditional setting.

As part of our digital literacy initiative Onkaparinga libraries currently offer digital drop-in sessions.

Digital Drop-ins

If you have a specific issue with your digital device or want to know how to do something online, then attending a digital drop-in session may assist. The sessions are approximately two hours in length and no bookings are required.

Due to resource constraints and to make sure everyone gets an opportunity to receive assistance each contact with a staff member is generally limited to 15 minutes.

Subjects covered include: Computer basics - Internet basics - Webmail - iPads and tablets - Digital photos - Skype - Facebook and Twitter - Blogging - eBooks and eMagazines - Windows - Online security

Please note: Exclusions may apply during school holidays. Contact your local library for more information.
